The above advice is part of brochure put out by the National Retail Foundation in coordination with U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security. Based on the suggestions given, the training that Response Options has been advocating and conducting for 5 years is now gaining mainstream acceptance as survival options.

Response Options specializes in preparing the schools, churches, hospitals, and workplaces of our communities in how to respond to a Violent Attack on large numbers of people.

We train potential victims in strategies designed to increase their odds of survival. We also provide training to Patrol and School-Based Law Enforcement Officers so that as first on the scene they may quickly, intelligently, and alone if need be, neutralize the threat to our kids.

Our A.L.I.C.E. (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate) program is a comprehensive approach, advocating integrated strategies incorporating Environmental Design, Technology & Communication, Law Enforcement Response, and the oft missing link - ACTION by those in immediate danger because they are the real First Responders.

We teach Common Sense that isn't Common Knowledge.
