Our Book: "Schools Can Survive the Active Shooter ... and why from Columbine to Virginia Tech they haven't."

Despite persistent failure when challenged, LOCKDOWN is still the only defensive strategy and policy used by most schools in response to an Active Shooter event. This 159-page book explains why this is an insufficient policy, and how schools can be better prepared, not just against the lone madman, but also an organized terrorist attack.

These are lessons learned from real-life experiences of violence, including school shootings. Survivability of these events is very possible if we'll take the time to inform the potential targets of the advantages they possess.
